Após uma auspiciosa estreia no Palco Super Bock do Optimus Alive!10, os The Drums regressam a Portugal para o primeiro concerto em nome próprio, dia 11 de Novembro, no Lux. Uma excelente oportunidade para ouvirmos ao vivo o brilhante álbum de estreia, homónimo.

Oriundos de Nova Iorque, os The Drums são um daqueles casos de enorme expectativa, concretizada. Ainda antes de editarem o primeiro longa-duração, já andavam nas bocas do mundo, graças ao EP, Summertime, e, em particular, ao contagiante single, Let's Go Surfing.

O primeiro disco veio confirmar tudo o que de bom se dizia sobre os The Drums - pop simples, directa, a evocar a praia e a fazer lembrar os Beach Boys. Dia 11 de Novembro, no Lux, dão o primeiro concerto em nome próprio, em Portugal. Imperdível!
