Alice Glass e Ethan Kath, são os dois nomes por trás do projecto canadiano, que editou este ano o segundo álbum de originais, homónimo (como já era o primeiro). Crystal Castles II (como é conhecido o disco), pega na energia do primeiro, mas atira os Crystal Castles para um patamar ainda mais elevado.
A imprensa especializada rendeu-se de tal forma ao disco que a Pitchfork afirma mesmo que "é melhor do que o primeiro álbum em praticamente todos os aspectos", atribuindo-lhe a classificação de 8.5 em 10.
Se em disco os Crystal Castles são impressionantes, ao vivo são de outra galáxia. Com Ethan Kath na maquinaria e Alice Glass na voz, é impossível tirar os olhos do palco e manter o corpo quieto.
