Os finlandeses Apocalyptica trazem o seu metal sinfónico a Portugal para dois concertos absolutamente imperdíveis, dia 12 de Outubro na Casa da Música e dia 13 de Outubro na Aula Magna, para apresentar o novo álbum, 7th Symphony, com edição marcada para Agosto.
Percursores do metal sinfónico, desde que editaram o primeiro álbum, Plays Metallica by Four Cellos (1996), os Apocalyptica apresentaram ao mundo novas versões de grandes clássicos do metal, tocadas por violinistas exímios, com treino em música clássica.
Desde o primeiro álbum, já editaram discos com versões de Faith no More, Slayer ou David Bowie, entre muitos outros, mas que também incluem composições próprias, onde contaram com a colaboração de grandes nomes, como Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Max Cavalera (Soulfly e Sepultura) ou Matt Tuck (Bullet For My Valentine).
